A friendly community choir
Canbury Singers are a friendly community choir based in north Kingston. We rehearse weekly and perform at musical evenings and events throughout the year.
We enjoy singing a wide-ranging repertoire including pop and musicals, choral works, folk and madrigals. Our musical director, Bethan Williams joined us in 2023, bringing her expertise and enthusiasm to our rehearsals and performances.
We rehearse weekly, building up to performances at least twice a year. We also take part in community events. And a regular highlight of our year is singing at the carol service for St Lukes Church, where we rehearse.
The choir was founded in 2007 and has grown from a core of seven to just over 40 members today. We welcome new singers – if you are interested in joining, you are welcome to join us at a rehearsal.
