We welcome new members
If you like the idea of singing with a group and learning music, we could be the choir for you.
We welcome new singers, and are particularly keen to hear from tenors, basses and first sopranos. No audition required, nor do you need to be able to sight read music.
We use a combination of ways to learn our music, including music scores, recorded learning tracks and note and tune learning by ear in rehearsals.
If you enjoy singing and learning new music and harmonies, then why not get in touch and you can join us at a rehearsal?
Our members certainly love it. In our recent membership survey, here is what some of our singers told us that they love about being in the choir:
‘Getting the chance to sing some fabulous music, develop as a singer and meet lovely people.’
‘I love singing in a friendly environment, being challenged (to sing more complex pieces) and learning.’

What to expect as a member
We aim to put on two concerts a year, with additional performances at community events and an annual Christmas performance for our host church.
Our singing year starts in January running till mid-July. We have a break at Easter and in the summer holidays (mid-July to September). We return in September and run up to a Christmas break.
Rehearsals take place on Monday evening from 8.15pm to 9.45pm in St. Luke's Church in north Kingston.
